Penn State Health, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center currently has two openings for a Senior Project Director - Facilities Planning & Construction. One position will be for the construction of clinical facilities. The other will be for the construction of education/research facilities.
Provide comprehensive project management services for HMC and College of Medicine Principal project construction, renovations, utility renovations and expansion, roadway and parking projects, and site work. Principal projects are generally considered those that have a total project budget exceeding $50 million. This position demonstrates advanced skills in budget management, communications, and leadership and execution of objectives critical to the organization’s success; demonstrates diplomacy in persuading and influencing a variety of people to achieve results; resolves complex, controversial or unprecedented issues and problems, and demonstrates sound judgment.

Minimum Qualifications -Master’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, 12 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare and/or Education and Research facility construction management experience.
Preferred Qualifications -Professional registration as Professional Engineer or Registered Architect. Professional credentials such as AHA Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), AHA Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED AP Certification.
