SGI Global is seeking a fluent Spanish speaking, experienced Program Manager (PM) for the company's US Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics, and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Mexico Law Enforcement Training Program. The PM is responsible for providing the day-to-day management and leadership for a team of more than 100 employees performing a wide range of law enforcement administrative, security support, and training functions. The PM is responsible for managing subcontractor relationship(s) and incorporating quality control to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Availability of position contingent upon contract award
Option also available for a TDY assignment in Mexico City
Maintain operational and administrative control of multiple training instructors over multiple entities at one time.
Provide overall contract program management to include oversight of scope, schedules, and cost associated.
Build a relationship with, promote coordination, and facilitate communication with the CO, COR, INL, Department of State, Insturctors, and Contractor personnel
Monitor and approve program expenditures, staying within approved budget.
Provide weekly project reports on activities completed, pending action items, and upcoming activities.
Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks.
Provide the logistical support to coordinate all travel, lodging, and any other requirements needed for instructors.
Oversee and facilitate timely recruitment, processing and deployment for candidates under subsequent Task Orders.
Maintain strict accountability and timely processing of all implementation and financial actions, and ensure that all deliverables and reporting are sent to the Contracting Officer, the COR, and INL Mexico City in a timely manner.
Project Management Professional Certified (PMP)
Two (2) years of experience working overseas or in a remote or difficult environment, preferably in Mexico
At a minimum, 3/3 Spanish Language
Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory capacity, including knowledge and application of human resource methodologies
Three (3) years experience managing and coordinating an overseas program of a similar size and scope, including involvement in handling financial matters of the program.
Excellent communiation skills and experience working with communication technologies.
Ability to pass background check and obtain an Minimum Risk Public Trust (MRPT)
Professional law enforcement experience in Mexico.
