This position is responsible for managing clients in the new business development sales process and implementation of custom client products and services. Partners with internal resources to design custom solutions for clients. Responsible for providing estimates of products and services to inform client pricing. Ensures client satisfaction in delivery of custom solutions and maintains relationship with clients to discuss new opportunities. Identifies areas for continuous improvements and recommends/implements changes. Serves as part of a team to support increased client base. Partners closely with the EPMO to provide project management services to deliver products and services to meet client needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field. Upon evaluation, a combination of equivalent education and/or experience in addition to the required experience outlined below may be substituted for the degree requirement.
5 years’ experience in project and program management and/or business management for client-focused businesses (B2B sales support activities). Experience must include two to four years of leading small-to- medium teams and leading complex projects. Demonstrated success in interdepartmental meetings and implementation of large-scale, cross-functional efforts, analyzing improvement for business and quality processes. Previous management or supervisory experience preferred. Experience must also include leading client interactions and engagement including implementation and ongoing support.
Ability to develop critical relationships with marketplace stakeholders. Demonstrated understanding of cellular therapeutic area, products and marketplace. Advanced knowledge of project and program management principles, risk management and application of delivery solutions, systems, organizational change management, and business process analysis. Knowledge of business analysis a strong plus.
Ability to interpret business’s goals and develop the business’s strategies and tactics to achieve them. Effective negotiating skills. Results oriented and focused to assess customer needs and market trends within the context of product and business capabilities and translate assessment into workable strategy. Cross-group collaboration skills to work across. Sound personal judgment and applications of creative solutions to solve problems effectively and efficiently. Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize. Willing to take risks and make tough decisions without complete information and assume responsibility for results. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing including professional and creative presentation skills. Strong work ethic and ability to develop priorities and manage time appropriately. Ability to work successfully within a team environment. Ability to integrate innovative ideas to accomplish corporate and individual objectives.
Strong business writing skills, independent problem solving, decision-making skills; strong interpersonal communication, networking and negotiating skills; mentoring and leadership skills; written, oral and presentation skills are required. Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
