Halifax Water is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Information Services to join the Engineering and Information Services Department. As a key member of the Information Services Team reporting to the Manager, Information Services, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible to establish and maintain methods, tools and techniques with respect to the IS Project Management practice at Halifax Water. They will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of major IS projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The Senior Project Manager will be expected to liaise and coordinate with other departments and agencies to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
As a Senior Project Manager - Information Services, you bring a minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible related experience including direct supervisory experience or experience directing a team of technical or professional personnel; combined with a Post-secondary degree in Information Technology and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent education and experience. Furthermore; you have or will obtain within six months of employment an ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification.
