Project Planning Technician

$27.77 to $32.64 per hour
Do you want to be a part of the Project Development and Facility Services team with the City of Richmond and contribute to the successful completion of capital projects? We’re looking for a Project Panning Technician to coordinate commissioning activities in project planning, execution, and completion phases. You will have the opportunity to evaluate building systems during construction phase, review project scope and drawings, assist in the development and delivery of annual Building Improvement and Infrastructure Replacement programs, as well as participate in the development and submission of Capital projects.
This role is ideal for individuals who have:
One (1) year of college in a related specialized field or specialized technical certification such Building Engineering Technology, Building Maintenance, Building Trades Certificate, or Records/Document management.
Sound experience working in building construction, trades, and/or design, and/or experience in project management or project coordination.
Sound knowledge of building systems, infrastructure, and maintenance.
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple and constantly changing priorities, where clear decision making is critical.
