This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week) position. •Preference will be given to candidates holding a recognized University degree or College diploma in Project Management, or a related field; relevant recent work experience (within the past 1-3 years) will also be consideredoDegrees in engineering disciplines are not preferred but will be received•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred•Must be capable of managing projects at a high level without being drawn into the technical discussions; focus must be on project delivery and project management principals rather than technical details•Must have 3-5 years’ experience in successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders with budgets between $200K and $1M•Must be capable of working professionally and objectively at a senior level, leading a project across multiple stakeholders and providing a clear project management focus•Must have good organizational skills with the ability to set and meet deadlines for yourself and the delivery team•Must be capable of self-driven work as well as working within a close knit team•Must be fully conversant in the use of Microsoft Products•Must be eligible for a Canadian NATO Secret Security Clearance, Canadian Controlled Goods and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) clearances.
