e-Builder is a cloud-based construction software and program management solution that helps owner organizations increase productivity, accountability, and budget efficiency by providing easily accessible and real-time project data. It is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application. The web-based e-Builder construction project management information software (PMIS) is designed to manage multi-project construction programs throughout all stages of development from planning through construction and into operations. It is a software tool to improve construction project execution and workflows through automation – resulting in more reliable, collaborative, faster and less expensive processes.
The Prince George's County, Maryland Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR) has over 200+ active projects in the e-Builder system at varying project development stages and with different levels of complexity, costs, timelines, deliverables, and suppliers. The Project Management team must manage these aspects in a consistent manner across the entire program and the e-Builder System Administrator is key in managing use of the software system to make this happen.
The e-Builder System Administrator will be the primary contact for DPR to maintain system level configuration and will be responsible for the support of both internal and external users. As the department wide PMIS, e-Builder affects all aspects of DPR development projects and the e-Builder System Administrator will be required to be highly responsive and able to prioritize end user needs in the best interest of DPR. The e-Builder System Administrator will liaise with the Park Planning and Development (PP&D) Division Chief, Program Managers, Section Supervisors, Project Managers, and other end users to implement any required account level enhancements, which could include modifications of data fields, reports, dashboards and templates.
