Contract Administrator, Department of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

Specific duties include: effectively communicating about the different procurement methods for the University to internal staff and suppliers; developing and managing the solicitation process for assigned commodities and services; clarifying requirements for purchases; investigating sources of supply; negotiating terms of procurement contracts and managing contracts in assigned categories; interpreting and analyzing data and circumstances to further strategic sourcing opportunities and partnerships; exhibiting flexibility and resilience in fast paced environment, adapting based on changing department and campus needs; and performing other duties as assigned.

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree with major course work in a business management, public administration, finance, economics, law, construction, or related field, and five years of successful experience in procurement, legal, construction, or business related field. |
