Position Summary:The Estimator is responsible for estimating, proposal development and management for public and private construction projects, and assembling complete bid packages and proposals to efficiently, successfully, and profitably obtain and complete assigned construction projects. This position reports to the President. Responsibilities include: Develop estimates ranging from $200,000 - $20 million+ from various types of bid documents and specifications and their key components such as bonding, insurance, indemnification and damage clauses. Ensure thorough and accurate quantity takeoffs Thoroughly read plans and specifications and review for accurate scope of work and means & methods assessment.
