The Inland Northwest AGC offers all employees a complete compensation package that includes:
• Competitive salary – range $55,000-$65,000

The Inland Northwest Associated General Contractors is seeking a new Director of Membership and Events. This position is responsible for the overall management of the chapter’s membership recruitment and retention activities, group products, discount programs, and special events.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Achieve annual membership recruitment and retention goals established jointly with the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
Implement and assist in development of an ongoing membership recruitment plan including but not limited to organizing and maintaining a prospect list, establishment of membership growth goals, and making personal contacts throughout the Chapter service area, utilizing current members assistance as appropriate.
Implement and assist in development of an ongoing membership retention plan including but not limited to analyzing current membership trends, establishment of retention goals, and development of a new member and at-risk member orientation program and communication process.
Work with accounting staff to monitor and follow up on payment of dues and other expenses from all membership categories.
Supply current membership data and information to staff on an ongoing basis.
Prepare membership information items for various AGC communications as necessary.
Work with other AGC staff concerning preparation of annual membership directory
Oversees AGC’s relationships with university student chapters.
Oversees associations Construction Leadership Council (CLC) and helps to arrange resources, facilities and programming in concert with CLC’s yearly strategic plan, including planning and managing all CLC social and educational events.
Plan and manage associations social events (golf tournaments, clay shoots and conventions), including working with event planning services and/or negotiating contracts with facilities, coordinating events with AGC staff, program planning, sponsorships, providing promotional information, and monitoring attendance and billing.
Manage, market and promote AGC group products and discount programs. Meet with current and potential members to educate and assist in enrollment.
Use Inland Northwest AGC’s mission as well as the current Strategic Plan to personally guide daily actions and performance of responsibilities in relevant key result areas.
Initiate ideas for new and better ways to perform responsibilities and bring recommendations to the executive management team’s attention for possible implementations.
Use every opportunity when interacting with members to build stronger relationships and demonstrate exceptional customer service.
Identify and effectively recommend additional member services to increase perceived value to members.
Perform special projects as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Degree in marketing or business or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience. Previous event planning experience preferred. Previous construction industry and recruiting experience a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, basic internet research skills, email and social media.

Must have daily access to reliable transportation and maintain appropriate insurance.
